EPC Converter 2.0

TDS 1.4 compliant encoding of EPC online

GS1 Germany’s EPC Converter is a free tool for converting an EPC into various formats.

In cooperation with the METRO Group Future Store Initiative, GS1 Germany has updated the tool according to Version 1.4 of the EPCglobal Tag Data Standard (TDS).

All seven GS1/EPC Keys are now supported:

SGTIN - Serialized Global Trade Item Number
SSCC - Serial Shipping Container Code
SGLN - Serialized Global Location Number
GRAI - Global Returnable Asset Identifier
GIAI - Global Individual Asset Identifier
GSRN - Global Service Relation Number – new!
GDTI - Global Document Type Identifier – new!

The EPC Converter is available online, free of charge. Members of GS1 Germany's EPC/RFID Implementation Network have access to enhanced functions (such as the decoding of a binary string into the Pure Identity) via the password-protected Subscriber extranet.
