Terms and conditions of participation of GS1 Germany GmbH

Here we have compiled an overview of our respective terms and conditions of business and participation. Use the filter to jump directly to the desired version and download it. We would like to inform you that these have changed for the GS1 Complete, SmartStarter10 and SmartStarter1 service packages for new customers as of 01.07.2023. For existing customers, these will come into effect as of 01.01.2024.

GTC Update June 2023

What has changed?

Quite simply explained: We have simplified the cancellation channels for you as a customer and made the notification period more flexible in the event of changes to the terms and conditions. So, in fact, nothing has changed for you, except that you can cancel in a simpler way if you no longer have any use for your contract with us.

The prices have not changed. You can find the current price list here.

Here are the changes compared for you:

Contributions	Users shall pay the fees shown in a price list. These fees may be utilised solely for the purposes specified in the statutes of GS1 Germany. In accordance with section 315 of the German Civil Code (BGB), any changes to the contractual considerations of users for implementing the purpose of GS1 Germany shall be decided by the supervisory board. and enter into effect at the beginning of the next financial year (calendar year). Such changes shall be notified to the users in writing or via the internet six months before the end of the previous financial year.	Users shall pay the fees shown in a price list. The supervisory board, as the representative of the users, may decide on any objectively necessary changes to these general terms and conditions of participation. Such changes shall not enter into force until the beginning of the next financial year (calendar year) and shall be notified to the users in writing or via the internet six months before the end of the current financial year. 2. Each user may terminate its participation with notice of three months to the end of a year. The termination will become effective upon receipt of the registered letter to GS1 Germany.	1. Removed 2. Notice of termination must be made in textform and become effective upon receipt by GS1 Germany.

Here you can find the new terms and conditions of participation (GTC) for your GS1 Complete product. These shall come into effect for existing customers upon conclusion of the contract by the cut-off date of 30.06.2023 from 01.01.2024. You will find changes in the following paragraphs:
